If you put company names into either Last Name or First Name, or split between them, or you have a comma for any reason in any contact or group name, you will have a problem when you send an email to that contact. Lets say the name of the contact is "Pierce, Fenner" and the email address is "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Then any email you send that includes that contact will actually get to the recipient, although the display name will be "Fenner" , not "Pierce, Fenner. Then your mail server will try to send another copy to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". (I mean your real ISP's domain name there.) If there is such an address, it will actually get to that email address. If there isn't anyone with that address, it will bounce back to you from your ISP's Postmaster. You can check because your Sent Mail copy will show the two recipients "Pierce" and "Fenner <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>". ** If Entourage is ever made to allow company names to act as contact names (as has been discussed here before), this error will have to guarded against when dragging the contact to an email message. Either _only_ the email address can display as the contact (as at present), or else the commas will have to be removed in the message, or some other implementation for new message window recipients will have to be made, or the problem will happen regularly. -- Paul Berkowitz -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
