I have submitted an update to my port of the Crevier Archive package
(Entourage to FileMaker Pro) to AppleScript Central. Erik will be posting it
later today; make sure you get v6.3 and not the previous version.

v6.3 Update -- Wed, Jan 31, 2001. I have ported the three auxiliary scripts
which allow you to reply to, forward, or to transfer messages from the
archive back to Entourage. Reply in Entourage and Forward in Entourage both
create new messages using the selected message in your FileMaker archive.
Transfer to Entourage will transfer all the messages in the current Found
Set from the archive back to Entourage (use "Find" in FMP to limit what is
transferred).

Note: only the fields archived by the original script can be transferred
back. If you archive a message and then transfer it back, you may lose some
information such as history, flag setting, category, and so on. Only the
basic information (from, to, dates, subject, and message body) are retained.

INSTALLING THE THREE AUXILIARY SCRIPTS

Place copies of the three scripts in the "FileMaker Pro" folder of your
"Scripts" folder in your "System Folder" folder. If you do not have a folder
there for FMP, create one. (If you have OSA Menu installed, open FMP, then
in the OSA Menu menu, select "Open FileMaker Pro Scripts folder". Otherwise,
create the folder manually in Finder.)

Method One
==========

You probably will need to tell your database files where these scripts are
located. If they do not work properly when you first try them, Select
"ScriptMaker" in the FMP "Script" menu. Click on each of the three Entourage
scripts (Reply, Forward, Transfer) in turn. When the first script opens,
double-click the single line in the script. In the window that opens next,
click the "Specify Application" button, and navigate to the proper script in
the folder where you just installed it, and select the proper AppleScript
application file. Then, click the various "Done" or "Save" buttons until you
are back to ScriptMaker, and process the other two scripts.

I am not sure how to preset these scripts to a particular location on disk,
so I apologize for the inconvenient installation process.

Method Two
==========

If you have OSA Menu installed, you can run these three scripts from the OSA
Menu menu, and forget about the internal FMP menu. Just place them in the
appropriate FMP folder inside "Scripts" folder and they will appear in your
OSA Menu when FMP is active.
