This is a great start! Thanks Jonas!

I used:
Specific header Disposition-Notification-To Exists as the criteria.

Then for the response, there are 3 choices:
Display message - We can use that to tell us someone reqested a reply, but
that doesn't say which message.

Reply - this creates an reply message, placing it in our outbox. We can
enter out own response. However, this is a spammer's delight so I would warn
against doing this. Of course, users can check their outbox if they are
careful.

Run AppleScript - this is the one I am now most interested in. The other
choices can't provide an option to not reply. I am hoping this will pan out.
I have not had the time to learn what I can script here yet. The goal would
be a dialog with a yes/no option. Yes being, create reply. No being ignore
request/do nothing. (If anyone is game to do this, I'd love to see it and -
with your permission - would write it up as a stand-alone column. I would
also try to post it at macdesignonline, as I feel it can help anyone
including designers.)

My Mac Efficiency 101 column on Return-Receipt will appear at MacCentral.com
next week.
