OK, guys, I'm impressed.

I've only been on this list one day, and I've already scooped up two
scripts, from Paul, that I've already used twice!

Paul, and list people, thank you very much!

I'm afraid that I'm not going to be able to contribute here, I came with
questions, and I see that there are several people here who have more than I
could ever give.

I have some problems with Entourage, and the concept behind Entourage is a
thing that I really, really want to see work- all addresses, calendars,
dictionaries, etc., etc., in one place, accessible from anywhere.

Here's problem one, and I can't help but note that this problem existed in
Palm Desktop, too.

I'm a general contractor.  I'm at www.phoenixhomesinc.com if anyone is truly
curious.

I get leads, via email, from ServiceMagic. Every lead is precious, and needs
to be handled quickly, correctly, and without fail.

It's a disaster when someone "slips through the cracks", and that costs me,
literally, thousands of dollars.

So.

I get the lead, with a name, phone number, email address, and some other
details.

It always looks the same, except when ServiceMagic takes it into their heads
to "upgrade", and add foolishness like more banners, or more graphics. The
format is currently this:

I need to do 2 things with this email:

1. Make a new contact, capturing name, address, zip, phone, email, and Job
Number.

This contact would always be of category "Lead", and I have a custom field
set up in Entourage for the Job Number. It is called "Lead Source", and if
there's a Job Number there, I know the lead came from ServiceMagic.

2. Make a Task, which would always be named "Call for initial appointment",
would always have "Highest" as a priority, and would always be linked to the
new contact.
