I just joined this list and I'm glad to be here - you've already answered
(through the archives) my biggest e'rage question (multi-day events not
sync'ing to the Palm - granted I don't like the answer, but at least I'll
stop looking for some reasonable solution to the problem). I searched the
archives to see if perhaps my other problem had been addressed, but it
hasn't, so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows what's happening here.
I subscribe to several mailing lists. I have all of them set to filter
messages from the list to a folder for that list. I also have all of them
set to send messages from me to the list to the same folder (I'd really
prefer to send them to the trash, but that isn't an option) and under the
"advanced" tab, I have checked "delete copies of incoming messages that I
sent to the list." Filtering and moving my messages to the folder work just
fine, but deleting my messages when they arrive doesn't work - or rather, it
seems to work for one and only one of the mailing lists to which I
subscribe. Any solution to this?
I suppose I could have an additional "rule" that would delete any messages
from me that are in the mailing list folder? But then I'd have to uncheck
"don't apply rules to mailing list messages" and other rules might get
applied?
