I have just run into a second occurrence of this problem. I have a message
in Entourage and I select print. The Entourage print dialog window comes up
blank and the computer freezes. The first time I froze and restarted three
times and then reverted to printing it from a PC that accessed the message
through Outlook that I had left on the server. So I forgot the incident.
Today it happened again, but I did not go through the freeze and reboot
process. . . :-) I recognized it. This time I noticed that it was a meeting
announcement from Outlook that "did not" give me the choice to save it to
the calendar. I get lots of other messages that are outlook meeting
announcements that ask me if I want to save it to the calendar. I looked at
the source of the message that freezes my machine on print and did not see
any difference with ones that prints fine.
Any ideas? Or would somebody like me to forward the message that causes the
problem for further investigation?
I am using a powerbook G3, 128MB memory, OS 9.1.
I can do nothing with the blank window using normal mouse or keyboard. The
control-command-escape gives me the option to force quit Entourage and when
I select yes the whole system freezes requiring the paperclip shut-down.
