Hi all,
I have a few hundred old emails from Claris Emailer Lite in plaintext format
that I am trying to import. No problem at all with the incoming messages,
and the only major stumbling block is the sent date field of outgoing
messages. Some of the messages are in 24-hour format, such as:
Sent: 1/5/97 9:08
Sent: 11/11/99 17:24
Others are in 12-hour:
Sent: 1/5/97 9:08 am
Sent: 11/11/99 5:24 pm
They are always dd/mm/yy.
In any case, I need to convert them all into this format:
Date: 01 May 1997 09:08
Date: 11 Nov 1999 17:24
Note that "Sent:" must be replaced by "Date:".
Does anyone know of a nice little droplet applescript or program that would
do this job for me? I have searched the archives for this list, and oe-talk,
but haven't found anything quite right.
Thanks in advance for any help, it would be very much appreciated. I am a
bit reluctant to go through every single message individually!
