Set your Date and Time control panel on the Mac so that the short date
includes the century. Do that before running the script (and hope it
works...it does work for an Emailer to FMPro script I used to use).

For the 1900 dates you now have, first separate the real 1900 email from the
"1900" email which should be 2000...that should be fairly easy. ;-)

Seriously, first make a copy of your database (because FileMaker's replace
operation can do what you want very fast but it can also do what you don't
want very fast).

Then, do a find in FMPro which finds only the "1900" messages. Then build a
suitable replace formula which changes the 1900 dates to 2000 ones, without
changing the month and year.

You'll have to do something about the February 29th ones, perhaps...but for
me, those were the ones which caused an error and alerted me to the problem
(that error could be why your attempted transfer timed out). Your backup
copy of the database will serve you well while you're learning how to make
the changes. (For onlookers, 1900 did not have a February 29, and FileMaker
becomes upset about that.)

(You could also be sensible and find one message at a time while working on
the formula...one message can be fixed by hand...1300 are another matter.)
