I just made a discovery by accident. I was reading and incoming mail in the
Preview Pane. I clicked once on the "From" address because I wanted to see
the popup that shows the actual address (as opposed to the display name).
This left the sender's name highlighted. Then, I decided I wanted to open
the message. So I keyed Command-O. And behold, a new Contact record opened
up, properly filled in with the sender's name and E-mail address!!
If you do the same with someone already in the Address Book, it opens their
record for you, faster than greased lightning. Pretty cool! Am I just slow
in discovering this, or have we been mostly in the dark about it?
