I've heard from a "very reliable source" that Open Transport apps in the Mac
OS 9 classic environment will work seamlessly out of the box. This support
has been present in OS X builds for several weeks now. Reportedly, one can
use Entourage and most (if not all) other OT apps without using Port
Deflector.
Bottom line: Don't worry -- Apple appears to be doing a bang-up job.
