No, I've not heard otherwise. I was asking.  I thought perhaps it worked
with OSA compliant scripts, á la OSAMenu.

Allen -- the script you commented on/asked about is JavaScriptOSA -- a port
of javascript 1.5 for use in OSA-compliant environments.  I've been writing
javascript for a few years, and AppleScript for less than a year (in
earnest) and the combo is pretty cool.  Lots of options to extend the
relationship between IE and E, especially since the AS-ability of E is
extensive but sparse in IE.  But, IE has a jscript engine, so...voila.

There is just an extension to install and then JavaScript shows up in the
Smile/Script Editor choice of languages/contexts/whatever.
