Hi,
I discovered the mailing list rule feature of Entourage and now I can't get
any mail rules to work. I had a set up with several mail rules would sort my
mail list mail, and one last rule to play a sound. I then turned off the
mail notification sound so that the only time I'd hear a sound was from that
last rule.
But when I started using mailing list manager, every mail rule began to be
ignored, even when I disabled them all. It wasn't until I deleted them all
that my mail rules started working again.
I know that the mailing list rules come first, but why should ordinary mail
rules not function? Should I just forget about the mailing list manager and
go back to my old way of sorting? What benefit is there of using the mailing
list manager?
