Carsten, I think (qualify that!) that you can NOT make that CD folder visible again *on* the CD, because the CD is locked. If it's rewritable, you could dump cd to hd, do whatever, then write back the whole lot again. Otherwise, if you just want to GET the stuff in the invisible folder on the CD, then, yes, you can do that easily (it will remain in the invisible folder on the CD, of course, with same caveat as above.) As demonstrated, you can use Paul's script (requires Akua) or File Buddy (requires download of shareware). I ran Paul's script and it works fine, and with his modification (addition) in a recent post, you can find ALL files in the invisible folder. IMHO, if all one would ever need FileBuddy for was this task, then the AppleScript method makes more sense. There is no interface, of course (unless you want to add one...a simple 'display dialog default answer...' to get a file name would do it) but it is a great example of using AppleScript for a task that you can't even do in the Finder alone. HTH Gary P.S. If SecretFolder or whatever does something to the flags of the folder/file that make it unable to be found by such tools, then you might have to use SecretFolder again to make it visible. Come to think of it, why don't you just do that anyway? Isn't that what its for...hiding and showing "secret folders"?
