My point being that your frustration with the problems you're encountering
is seemingly causing you to universalize your problems.

Clearly the software isn't working well for you.  But that doesn't mean that
it isn't working well for anyone.


Similarly, most of us on the list try really, really hard to avoid "Well, it
doesn't happen on my machine, so it must be something you're doing" because
we know that it's just as invalid to universalize our success.


Judging by the frequency with which people hunt down this mailing list just
to ask about Palm syncing and database rebuilding, there's clearly some
issues that Microsoft needs to address in those areas.  But many of these
issues do have known workarounds (the question, as always, is "Known to
whom?").
