I just begand using Entourage recently and I am now having the know
problem, as reported last year on MacFixit.com:

Entourage and Explorer conflict? Several readers (including Alain Pilon)
confirm that if you click a URL link in Entourage, Explorer will crash on
launch (if it has already been launched, no crash occurs). Various
work-arounds have been offered, but none seem to assure success. Of note,
Todd Young found: "When I replaced IE 5 with the version provided on the
Office 2001 CD-ROM, it worked like a champ."

Is there an actual fix for this? I am using the latest IE 5 for Mac and
Entourage (v9.0 2509, as shown in get info). G4 Cube with OS 9.1
Most of the time I have Explorerer open already anyway, but when I don't
it just locks up my ystem trying to launch.
