Retrospect backs up my docs every day on my system. But this can be as bad
as it is good: all the incremental back ups of the messages database I had,
are corrupt to. I made the bad decision a few years ago to use 2 GB JAZ
disks to make back ups. It's all very fast (> 100 MB/min) but the medium is
much too expensive. So I have to "recycle" my 5 disks approximately every 14
days (in large part due to the fact that Entourage stores it's messages in
one big database which changes every day...): apparently the corruption in
my messages database was older than that.

In fact, I think the corruption goes back to the very first day I started
using Entourage and imported the messages from Outlook Express. I noticed
most of the corrupt messages where from 1999.
