I wouldn't worry about it. Just upgrade to mac OS 9.1 - it's a great, stable
OS. MacFixit boards contain lots of stuff that people haven't pinned down
and blame on this or that. It usually comes down to 3rd-party extension
conflicts. There are no problems with Office 2001 that OS 9.1 has
introduced, AFAIK. OS 9.1 is a bug-fixer, mostly.
