Indeed!

One more point, though, that no-one mentioned yet: the items in the Startup
Folder are launched in alphabetical order. Therefore, you can control the
order in which Startup items launch by adding "a," "b," "c," etc. to the
beginning of their names.

*BUT*: this offers insufficient control for what you want to do. Startup
Folder items launch concurrently and not consecutively -i.e. They don't wait
for other Startup items to finish loading before they launch.

Dan's solution is the best; I just thought I'd mention the alphabetical
order thing in case you hadn't heard of it before.
