Doug, the trick is having something unique to search for at the start and
end of what is to be snipped out. If a line of equals signs is such a unique
line to flag the start of what is to be cut, we can do it. If a message
might contain a line like that for another reason, it could cause problems.
The lines you need to modify are:
....hmmm. The way I did it does not make it easy for anyone else to adapt
this script. Let me mess around with it a little to give it a couple of
"property" variables that you can set to include a list of valid start and
stop flag lines. Then, I will send it to you with instructions--or maybe
I'll just add the Topica stuff myself, assuming the information you provide
is valid for all messages and that the lines that start and end each segment
are guaranteed to be unique.
