That was actually the most unimportant (seldom) example of
my many examples of problems.
Otheres are
* dates (European spelling) like 4.3. that always end with a dot,
and worst of all:
* after a line break - that I sometimes do manually- and without a dot
ending the line above.... (think of lyrics, for example....)
I am glad I found out how to kill that "feature"...
Strange, nobody commented on that. The autocapitalize feature could be
really useful, if it was no THAT basic.
