Have you checked which program sent the item (View>Internet Headers look for
User-Agent)? I suspect that this is from an Outlook for Windows user (not
Outlook Express).
If this is so then what you likely have got is a blank message in which a
memory contents are included, possibly of Exchange Server code.
Best write to sender taken from the Internet Headers and advise them you
don't want their junk - send it someone else or go fix it!
