I just bought a new Titanium PowerBook (got it yesterday), so I was in the
same situation.
I hooked up an ethernet cross-over cable between the new TiBook and my old
PowerBook, and transferred files this way. Not a problem. I even changed the
location of my Microsoft User Data folder (keeping it now in the Documents
folder where Entourage expects it).
Doesn't seem to me like there are any special directions you need to take.
