Hi Diane,

Are you 100% sure that your Entourage froze completely?  I got the same
email as you yesterday (hotmail message with no subject).  When I clicked it
to display it in the preview pane, it looked as though Entourage had
frozen...  I let it work (although the ball was not even spinning - it was
stopped).  About 1 or 2 minute later, Entourage woke up.  I didn't have to
force quit it or anything...  The message itself came up as a very large gob
of unintelligible text (seemed like UUEncoded or Macbinary - who knows?)

As a side note, I always wait a minute or two before doing a force quit on
my Mac.  I has happened on more than a few occasions that it sprung back to
life a minute or two after it had seen to haywire...
