Sorry for bringing this here but I've tried the MS newsgroups without luck
so I'm turning to the most helpful gang I know on the 'net'. :-D
I can't run PowerPoint 2001!!!
It drives me crazy!!!
I have no once gotten PP 2001 to launch on the 2 machines I have it on, NOT
ONCE!
I'll get the 'An error of type 3 have occurred...." every time. I have tried
the usual tips removing prefs files and so on but nothing have worked.
I see that there are others having the same problems so I'm amazed that
there seem to be no one that have found a solution!
I'm running on 9.1 and 9.0.4 but I think I tried it with 8.6 too with out
luck. Entourage, Word & Excel runs fine but PP simply don't work...
Even on a virgin 9.1US from the OSX installation it bombs!
I noticed on the newsgroup that I'm not alone on this but no one knew of a
fix, but since there are a lot of people running it daily I just can't
figure it out what's wrong...
Have anyone from MS heard *anything* on this?
