Edit>Preferences>Mail & News>Compose Tab>
Uncheck the box that says "Automatically Check Names"
This will temporarily resolve your problem of misaddressed email that you
are sending.
Ultimately you will want to open your address book and manually delete or
correct the faulty entries that are causing you problems. I am unaware of
any "cache" of addresses other than those listed in the address book.
