I'm on a G4 PowerBook as well, and if it makes you feel any better, you
shouldn't be too envious. My Apple path for the past eight years has been
Duo --> 5300 --> 5300ce --> WallStreet II --> TiBook. I love the new
machine, but it's not nearly as much of a quantum leap as it was to go from
the 5300ce to the WallStreet. More like a general upgrade; a few things are
faster (and the games are smoother), and it's worth the price, but I think
I'd have been happy with the WallStreet for another year.
On the other hand, if you're still locked to your desktop, the Pismos are
dirt cheap.
