Has anyone seen or heard of problems cropping up with the Outlook 2001 beta
after installing the SR1 update for Office 2000?
I get a "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable." error message when
I try to start up. If I open up the Outlook Settings app, enter the IP
address for our exchange server, and click on the Check Name button, it will
automatically replace the IP address with the actual name of our server --
meaning that the server can actually be contacted from my machine.
I don't use Outlook all that often, so I'm not 100% sure that installing SR1
was the culprit. They did happen around the same time, though, so that's my
hunch. I downloaded and installed a fresh copy of the beta, but that didn't
help.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
