Hello -

I posted a couple days ago with no response.

I have created a separate 9.1 base installation on a different partition for use with OS X.  Word, Excel, and PowerPoint work fine.  Entourage will not launch.  I have tried making an alias, copying, etc, my Documents folder from the 1st partition for E’rage to refer to to no avail.  Any help out there???  Is there something missing in the basic installation of 9.1 that E’rage needs??  Applescript, Internet control panel, Quicktime are all there.  Am I missing something?

In case you never find a solution:

I have OS 9.1 (full whack, everything) and OS X on separate partitions, and all my classic (OS9 ) Applications and Data (documents) on two other separate partitions. 4 partitions in all. I have aliases to the apps and documents on the OS 9.1 partition, and on each other's (so there's an alias to Documents --> Microsoft User Data on both 9.1 and Apps partitions).  All the Office apps work great in Classic. They didn't when I had a separate copy on a backup disk – then double-clicking Word documents would open the wrong Word and take forever (2 minutes) to do so. Now it's faster in Classic than when booted from OS 9.1, I think. Anyway, it works fine.

So if you can't fix it your way, do it my way.
