You can select the location via a Rule. Here's how. Before you get started, create a new folder named "Junkmail." 1. Go to Tools > Enable the Junk Mail Filter enable the filter; close window 2. Go to Tools > Rules 3. Create a New Rule for your POP, IMAP, or Hotmail account 4. In the Rule name box, name it something like "Junk Mail Rule" 5. Under "If" click "+ Add Criterian" 6. Select "Is junk mail" from the popup 7. Next to Execute actions, select "if any criteria are met" 8. Under "Then" click "+ Add Action" 9. For the first popup, select "Move Message" 10. In the second popup, select the "Junkmail" folder you made earlier. Alternatively, you can have it move it to "Deleted Items" or any other E'rage folder. Enable this rule and it will work in tandem with the filter. The filter essentially marks questionable mail as junk, then the Rule reads that flag and acts according to your instructions. > 2)Why is it that my "rules" don't automatically apply to the mail that I > receive? Also make sure the Rule is enabled. > 3)Where can I go to review apple scripts that others have written for > Entourage that I feel might be advantageous to me?
