If I edit a recurring task's start date (e.g., create a task that repeats for five days starting next Monday; duplicate it; edit the start date to create a similar recurring task that starts one week later, but with different text), I have a problem. If I just change the start date and try to save, I get the message saying I've changed one occurrence, and to change all, click Cancel and edit the recurrence pattern directly. When I do that, even though I have changed the "due date", the <starting date> shown for the task in the recurrence window (and at the top of the item's main window) is still the original date! In order to get Entourage to change the start date, I have to do the opposite of what the dialog advises. I have to click "Okay" instead of "Cancel." This forces the change to the start date; it also erases the recurrence pattern, so that I now must re-enter the repetition information. When I've edited the due date, shouldn't the "start date" be updated to reflect that? -- Add me to Palm/Visor: http://signature.coola.com/?[EMAIL PROTECTED] Allen Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> XNS name: =Allen Watson A Mac family since 1984 <http://home.earthlink.net/~allenwatson/> Applescripts for Outlook Express and Entourage: <http://homepage.mac.com/allenwatson/> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
