You've let your Software Update control panel update you to CarbonLib 1.3.1,
which has a few bugs. In a very short time there will be an update to 1.4
available, so you can just wait. or you can downgrade to v1.2.5. There's a
TIL article at Apple's Software webpage that says how to do it, and an
article at MacFixit that gets you an URL to that TIL article. Do a search
for "CarbonLib" at MacFixit if you don't want to wait for v1.4.
