I have been experimenting trying to get my Japanese contacts from Entourage
to synchronize with my Palm. So far, I have not had much luck, and I would
like to know if anybody else has tried this and gotten it to work?
My setup:
Entourage with SR 1 registered as Japanese language application
Hotsync manager 2.5
Palm V with Palm OS 3.3, JOS III
I am also looking into the updated freeware version of JOS from
<http://www.tt.rim.or.jp/~tatsushi/> (under Palmware) as JOS III is not
entirely compatible with Palm OS 3.3.
With JOS III, I could properly display contacts in Japanese, such as those
beamed to me from Japanese editions of Palm devices. However, I cannot synch
those records with Entourage - Entourage displays mojibake. Japanese
contacts entered into Entourage appear as question marks when transferred to
the Palm.
