Very impressive. I had feared that MS was unable to implement such a
comprehensive privacy policy out of concern that it would cause a backlash
among advertisers. Although I can't say I understand everything I read on
the URL in your email (there was a LOT there), it really looks good. And if
you can implement that on PCs, then there's no need to worry about being PC
(Politically Correct) with the other 10%.
Although this is somewhat OT, I think it is interesting that Netscape has
spent all this time creating a browser that might be almost as good as the
current version of IE. It also seems that some of the more innovative
features that one hears being discussed for future browsers will require
connections faster than 56K to be really effective.
But plain text email (and simple HTML email) works very well at current
speeds (except for those attached 1MB pictures!).
