Title: Re: Redirecting personal messages ???
Gary,

Do you have any superceding rules that apply this particular incoming before it redirects?

Sounds like you have set the rule up properly and the fact you are running other rules (successfully I assume) indicates you know what you’re doing, right?

My thoughts ...
Execute Actions – if any criteria are met
If; from; Is;  <senders name>
Then; move message; <choose folder>

You can also add -
Change status; redirected

And, of course, make sure the Enabled check box is checked

Still not working?

So Gary Smalley says:

Good morning group,

I just searched out this group in hopes of solving a minor (hopefully)
problem.

I have lots of rules directing attachments, messages from other accounts,
news from other group, etc. But I'm trying to direct mail from a single user
to a particular folder. I thought this would be a snap. And hopefully it is
and I just can't see the light.

I've tried the what I consider a simple approach such as (see clipping) :
from/is or contains/the persons email address/move message/too this folder.
But it doesn't seem to like that idea and still directs that persons email
to the inbox.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated,

TIA,
Gary Smalley

Also, Happy Fathers Day to anyone who fits into that group :¬)
