I've updated the Merge Contacts script to version 3 as I have received no bug reports, and have fixed one serious bug in the script itself. It is currently, temporarily available on http://homepage.mac.com/douglashildum/, and I will upload it to applescript central as soon as I can. This script now merges children's name data correctly, the previous versions of this script would not. Unfortunately, this has revealed a problem with Entourage's contact window. The summary pane will show the data for children's names correctly, however the children's name edit box on the personal pane will not show the children's names correctly if the contact's children field (a list of string) is changed by a script.
