General note to the list: I have found that E'rage does require regular data
rebuilds.

    I switched from Palm IIIx to Visor Deluxe recently, hotsynching (PB G3
running 9.0) with no problems, and then suddenly, my Hotsynch operation was
quitting regularly once it hit the E'rage conduit.
After trying the standards (increasing software memory, trying and trying
again until it "catches," I confirmed with Handspring tech support that it
was an E'rage problem. Rather than wade through the MS help routine, I began
with the Handspring support suggestion of rebuilding my desktop.
    The problem was solved by doing both a desktop rebuild and an E'rage
database rebuild. (had to do an advanced.)

    At work we have a database which reminds the operator to do a rebuild
after a certain amount of time. As long as rebuilds are necessary, this
would be a great feature for an Entourage software update.
