I have run into this as well.
One more thing: It has always struck me as odd not to have a setting that
allows the spell-checker to automatically ignore/accept words where the
first letter is capitalized, such as place or person names. I usually end
up typing a lot of such names, and it's annoying to have to see the red
squiggles all over my screen.
