Thank you for all your help.  We had six G4's with wrong dates.  There were
two fixes to this problem:  1) I put in a new P-RAM battery, and 2) I threw
out Finder Prefs and the Power Mgt Prefs.  Some machines worked with #1
only, some with #2 only, and with at least a couple I needed to do both.
