Tip: If there are any messages in the future that you want to move from one identity to another, just drag the messages to the desktop. They will be stored in the MBOX format. You can switch identities and drag then back into the folder list.
Messages themselves are stored in the email message file format (.eml). But you can also drag entire folders of mail to the desktop. They're the ones that are saved as mbox files, but also can just be dragged into another identity where they magically become Entourage mail folders again, with all messages intact.
