I did this on both partitions as well as on my firewire HD, and for example
if I try to copy either partition to the firewire HD for back-up or whatever
I am told "I don't have sufficient write privileges" although I have
selected ignore on ALL volumes. Of course I have no problem at all in OS 9,
just drag and drop.
Can anyone can tell me how to fix this once and for all? Other wise I have
no choice but to abandon OS X.
