My friend who hopes to switch from Eudora to Entourage and has had
continual problems with Entourage had this problem continue even after
replacing the main identity.
By the way, I don't know why, but the identity file was in the documents
file. When I first reported his problems to this list and to Microsoft, I
had been unable to find any file that might be the culprit (because I
didn't know it was "identity"), and had looked in the usual suspect
locations for where it was. When I did trash the identity file it did
clear up his other problem (when he selected new message it opened to a
form labeled "untitled" and then locked up - the traditional part of an
email message you would expect never even appeared on the screen, just a
blank form like a note.)
He still has a problem with the date display on the calendar.
