hello all, I ran into a real weird problem: one of my Entourage installations refuses to compact its message databases -- simply no dialog box pops up after launching E'rage with option key held down.
German Mac OS 9.2.1, German Office 2001 with SR1 and security patch applied. Doesn't campact. At home, I use US Office 2001 with SR1 and security patch on top of a German OS 9.2.1 -- compact & rebuild works. Both installations (except for minor differences) share the same set of installed Entourage AppleScripts. Any suggestions for troubleshooting besides re-formatting the disk drive and starting over right from scratch?
