Thanks so much for all your help. The situation was that I have a customer who insisted that I burn him a copy of my OS 8.6 CD since he had OS 8.0 and he "was told" by some "gentleman at AppleSOS" that if he had 8.0 he was "entitled" to any upgrade in the 8.x level. I was almost sure that was not allowed, but I wanted to double-check before I told him that his information was false.
I personally am running 9.2.1 on a 466 MHz G4 and I like it. I'm thinking about getting an iBook. Those new ones sure are nice!
