I agree that command-delete would be preferable. I often find myself reading an email and hitting the delete key to make a change before realizing I haven’t hit the Edit button yet.Add my vote to the “don’t change this” side :-). I frequently scan lots of emails (mostly mailing list ones), with my finger on the delete button so I can quickly and easily delete those I don’t want to read (or only want to skim). I’d hate to have to use both hands to delete an email.
