I've gotten these too;  they usually come from someone using Outlook on a
Windows machine.  Do they come in as a file called "winmail.dat"?

You can search the MacFixIt archives for "tnef" for more info.

One thing that has worked pretty well for me is to use a freeware program
called "TNEFs Enough" to decode them.  Just drop the tnf file on this
program and it will usually produce a readable/useable file.
