If you have read the entire thread, then you have clearly missed something.

I pirated nothing, and none of you--certainly not you--has any idea whether
the person who loaned me this PB had the right to do so, or if he did
anything wrong. I don't even know if he did.

Maybe you're clairvoyant; I am not. So maybe, just maybe, you could back off
a little, huh?

I pay for every piece of software I use. Period. And your analogy is just
frankly insulting.
