I suppose you could argue that, but IE is freely available for download. I
assume you mean that those who buy Office are subsidizing the development of
IE.
Hardly an major point though, is it?
Back to the topic: As long as your machines are not networked you do not
have a problem. If only one of your machines needs to be on the internet
(e.g., one machine running IE and the other just running apps like Word and
PPT) you can simply disconnect the machines from each other. Not ideal, but
practical in the short term (and cheaper than buying a multiple license).
