I'm running 10.1.1 and I can although all I have to do is click somewhere in
tbe body of the message and the buttons work again. However, the headers
remain grayed out although you can still click and select text in them. It's
a cosmetic thing.

While we're on the subject of weird interface things, sometimes I have
message windows open with multiple button bar items looking as if I'm
clicking them although I'm not. It's an appearance thing, not a
functionality problem.
