Yes, a sort of poor man's IMAP. Only Entourage and OE Mac offer this, of all
mail clients on any platform, as far as I know.

I've not heard of this before. I hope an MS person can add something. I
guess there may be second-class POP servers and your ISP has got one. There
might be something that your ISP can tell you, but usually they've never
heard of of our "Online Access" feature. They might understand that UIDL
command, however. Does your ISP have web access to mail? (Check their web
site.) That would do instead, but I would have thought that if they had web
access, you could get there from Online Access.
