Keep in mind, that if you believe Palm, they never meant to distribute the software now. They are saying that what we have was meant to be distributed only to Palm employees, with the beta actually due in Mid-January. That happens to be around the same time they are saying that they will have a SDK. So maybe, just maybe, they knew that 3rd party support was essential and never intended to release something half-way.
